What would life be like if we didn’t have spam

If there weren’t spam in my junk box, it would really save me some wear and tear– and irritation!  Think of it, without spam, I wouldn’t be deluged with people wanting me to get a degree, lose weight, and buy a watch.

In addition to the nuisance I’d be spared from, I’d probably also save what I guess is about five minutes a day of deleting when I would much rather be Godwriting or blogwriting. I get some satisfaction from deleting spams, but no joy.

At the same time as I wish that spam were not allowed,  I sure want the internet left free. I don’t want rules and regulations and small print. So give me spam, and give me freedom.

Senora! We have to get rid of that email address. It has been splashed all over the Internet. Its very likely that every email harvester has this email account in their database. I’m hoping the auto-reply has started to confuse the spammers. I’m going to turn up the filter on your email account to see if that helps.

Senor, you must not go to trouble. You know, when I don’t know what to write about, I still require myself to write about something, and spam is always good to pick on! Really and truly, spam is at the bottom of my list.

In a way, I admire spam and can learn from it. It is always undaunted! It is democratic and goes to everyone. Spam doesn’t pick and choose. It broadcasts itself no matter what anybody thinks. It never gives up.

I think odes could be written to spam!
