3 Cheers indeed!

The web designers from Khanyi Media say what they're doing isn't work! And whatever they do, it is in service to God. You know what that feels like, dear Wm.

For those blessed souls who give for the pure joy of it, who do not ask nor expect nor want thanks -- I think it is for us to thank them on the silent levels. It is just where they are and who they are.

For the rest of us, it's a great idea to pat ourselves on the back for whatever we did today that we feel good about.

Your lists would be welcome right here!

With love and blessings,

3 Cheers for Santhan! His work is a reward in itself and he should pat himself on the back for jobs well-done.

One on the pleasures I have found in life is to acknowledge and praise yourself. We should not always expect recognition for our efforts, but be thankful when appreciation comes after an endeavor. Usually that job is up to us. A suggestion: Write down 10 things you have done well today. Good - Now pat yourself on the back for having done a good job. How do you feel?

I don't know how to post pictures here either. Maybe when all the work on the new web site settles down, Santhan can show us. It would be great to have photos here. Your art sounds LOVELY.

Pam, by the way, the statement you made -- "The real lesson for me in all this was to let go of the ego self that said I had to be perfect, or the best, and if I couldn’t, I wouldn’t even try."

That is also a key to Godwriting!

OOOPS ... was going to try to include a photo and hit submit instead! Don't know how to attach a photo, so will explain instead.

I had lots of plain glass vases, so decided to "embellish" ... I had seen on Martha Stewart some years ago where someone had used tissue paper and decoupaged on glass. I don't remember what or how exactly, so just jumped in and did my own thing. It's very pretty (I think), and gives sort of a stained glass meets mosaic look.

I crumple the tissue and use several layers, and sometimes layer several colors to give depth and color. I'm just starting, so am having LOTS of fun with adding different things, like dried flowers, to the mix. ("Budding" artist ... lol). Just keep adding, taking away or just plain starting over until I get it like I like it.

The real lesson for me in all this was to let go of the ego self that said I had to be perfect, or the best, and if I couldn't, I wouldn't even try. To let go of the ego self that had to always compete with others instead of respecting and listening to my own voice. I'm still in the process of realizing that I am worthy of respect and love just for being me.

I winced when I reread my post calling myself an artist ... had an ego moment of "Omigosh, what was I thinking? There are REAL artists on this board." Then realized that I am a real artist too, as we all are, and that I'm just now discovering my voice.

And when I looked back through some of the other blogs, I see that EVERYONE is an artist ... for surely there is an "art" to every endeavor done well. Feeding hungry children, writing a poem, creating a mosaic, painting a photo, asking/answering deep questions, Godwriting, providing a true education, creating a website/blog/forum, to name just a few.

Wow, another long, long post, but gosh, I can't seem to stop when I start typing. If I can ever figure out how to post a photo, I will.

Gratefully--as always--Pam (fortheloveofGodde)

Thanks to all the "real" artists, poets, writers, website creators, and all other media, for sharing

Dear Michigan Pam,

Sorry for my error. I must learn not to assume and to realize there is more than one Pam in the world!

And you are an artist too! What is your art like?

And where in Michigan are we going to have a Godwriting workshop? Let's start dreaming it, dear Pam fortheloveofGodde. I look forward to it very much.

This blog means a lot to me too. There are such beautiful people in the world, and I am so glad to get to know so many of them here.

It's another thing I'm grateful to Santhan for, for the blog was his idea, and he made it for us.

Junee's questions have helped me to discover what I feel.

God bless us all.

Just in case there's a bit of confusion, I'm not the Pam who is the lovely artist from Minden--she signs simply "Pam." That's why I made sure to add my online id (fortheloveofGodde). NOT that I mind being confused with such a lovely person as Pam from Minden!

However, I am Pam, the budding artist from Michigan. The one who is eagerly anticipating attending (perhaps coordinating) a Godwriting workshop closer to me.

I've been so inspired by this website, Aquarius' website, and a lovely friend who has been counseling me through a rough spot, to let my creative juices flow.

The Minden workshop photos and blog were especially thought-provoking and inspirational. The Heavenletters written at Minden were the "kick-in-the-behind" I needed--they seemed to be written in direct answer to my questions, dilemma, problems. Especially today's Heavenletter letting me know there ARE NO PROBLEMS.

By the way, I read with great interest the exchanges between you and Junee. JUNEE, please accept my thanks and appreciation for asking questions I didn't even know I had until YOU asked--and Gloria, your answers were more wonderful than you can know.

I'll end this long, long post with saying, again, how much this site means to me and how thankful I am that Godde put it in my path.

Ooooooh! Now I feel exposed! No, not really! I'd love to hear what others think and feel and really look forward to meeting members of this beautiful community this way. I hope Santhan finds my message here! Thanks Gloria, for the info. re. who does what where! Hmmm...yes, I knew I was on the blog part - sorry if I'm not making sense, it's just that I tend to think of the Website and the blog etc. as all one. I am grateful to you all everywhere! I hope you'll show us your painting when it manifests, Gloria! Love to you, Junee

Dearest Junee, I don't paint, sweetheart! But I will after Pam gives me lessons. Pam's artwork is creative. It seems to me it comes from the inside out. Not formal training, if you know what I mean. I think it's using the colors I choose and playing with them and feeling good.

Junee, this where you are right now is the Heaven blog www.godwriting.org

The website that Santhan and his staff -- Pablo, Jordan, and Mauro --- are working on is www.heavenletters.org
Kirt in Colorado, Heaven's webmaster; Adrachin in Germany, Community Forum Administrator; Annette in California, Heaven's archivist, will also be helping with the new website, and Margaret in Iowa, who has been proofing the e-books, will proof the web site.

By the way, I would like to direct everyone who is reading this to an earlier entry in this blog. Emails from the Heart. Junee has asked some great questions, and I have given some great answers! and it would be wonderful to have your feedback there as well!
