Surprise Road Trip with Santhan

Santhan drove me to the mountains of Romania in the blue Dacia, the Romanian car he rented. The surprise was I didn’t know we weren’t coming back until it was time for me to fly back to Athens!

In Sinaia, we stayed overnight at the Villa Rezevat. I recommend it.

You will see photos below of the painted ceilings. The woodwork. The stained glass windows like no others I have ever seen. Tres regal.

You will see me with a street vendor of honey, a vendor of the most amazing kinds of honey you ever saw. Very dark, very light, transparent. And you can see that the lady loves working with the bees and is proud of all the wonderful products the bees produce.

And you will see various photos of the Peles Castle and the statuary.

You will also see some night scenes and Christmas decorations at Brasov.

What I really wish is that you could have been with us. The air. The scenery. The good company. The wonderful time. It was magical.

Next time you come with us, okay?

How lucky you are Romania looks very beautiful. What a glorious window. I love stained glass. I would love to go with you next time. Perhaps I should start saving the pennies!
