Slim Heaven Admin’s phenomenal ways for losing weight

Heaven has some beautiful unheard of ways of getting thin. I am not thin yet, but if I can go by the fit of my clothes, I am losing weight, thanks to his terrific techniques.

As you know, Heaven Admin is an original thinker.

He advises that one factor to gaining or losing weight is the shape and weight of the container you eat from. For instance, if you eat from a pot, what does that suggest? Heaviness and a pot!

So best to eat from a tiny bowl.

Even if we have two servings.

The idea of Heaven Admin’s that is especially phenomenal is this:

Don’t eat with silverware.

Heaven Admin recommends, most of all, eating with your fingers as it is done in primitive societies. Also good is eating with chopsticks. My first choice now is fingers.

How do you do this?

Take a chapati or a wrap, tear a piece off and use it as a little hand shovel.

Now, we all know that it is better to eat slowly. However, I have only seemed to know how to gulp my food down. We all know to chew carefully, but I never remember, and I never have the patience to chew fifty times either. Eating with my fingers ensures that I slow down. and, as I slow down, I find I relish each bite.

Last night Heaven Admin made curried garbonzo beans with some vegetables.  I find I am able to scrape up maybe two garbonzo beans and some of the sauce per little chapati hand-shovel,  and I savor each bite. I imagine that in between bites, my food has a chance to digest a little and that my stomach thanks me for it.

Whereas eating a meal would routinely take me ten minutes, let’s say, eating with my fingers makes the meal last forty-five minutes! And I love eating with my fingers!

There is something else involved here, and that is prana, the energy we get from our own fingers. Notice how at weddings, the bride and groom feed each other a piece of their wedding cake with their fingers. Prana!

I have long suspected that that this prana is the reason why fast foods and snack foods are such big sellers.  However, fast foods are mostly sandwiches and snacks are dry, making it possible to take big bites and handfuls. There is no slowing down in eating with fast foods that I can think of.

With this new experience of eating even juicy foods with my fingers, I find I am satisfied. So, if I have a big hand-fed lunch at 1 or 2 p.m., I don’t have to eat supper at all. Maybe a cup of hot milk with cinnamon, cardamon, and tumeric, and I am content.

In a later blog entry,  we will have photos to demonstrate.

Meanwhile, do you know any little known ways to stay or become slim?  Ways we don’t already know? Happy ways we can actually stick with?

A liver cleans, will according to a good friend of mine loose weight for you. He suggested I get hold of a book by dr Sandra Cabot. “Love your liver and live longer” I will get it from the Library as soon as I have time which is hard to find these days maybe next week if I am not to busy Love to ALL Jack

Gloria, I think also (in many cases, particulary mine) excess weight around the abdomen area is an indication of protecting the emotional body. And also, the more spiritual we become, and live the more grounding we need. When you add a large boulder to a balloon…it stays on the ground.

I would love to be able to give an hour during the day (while at my job) to eating slowly and with my fingers. Ah, not practical though. But I do find my self preferring to eat sandwiches, rather than something else I need to use utensils for.

Santhan is on to something with the size of the container. And many of us were conditioned in our childhood to “clean everything off of our plates.”
Which then leads to over eating. If we could just stop ourselves when we are actually full.

I have also heard of cleansing the liver and ridding the body of many toxins.

Perhaps we all need to listen to our bodies, and do what our bodies tell us is beneficial. All in moderation. And try and eat healthy foods with very little preservatives.

That’s an interesting idea about fast food!

A really (really, really good and cheap) good liver detox

Ingredients
1 whole lemon (chopped into about 8 pieces)
1 clove of garlic
1 inch (2.5cm) piece of ginger root
1 tablespoon of pure virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon 100% Turmeric powder (optional)
Some water

Method
Put all ingredients (including seeds and skin of lemon) into a blender, adding a little water, blend until the thing is drinkable. Drink the smoothie and wash it down with some water.

For a liver detox
Drink 3 times a day for 1-2 weeks (thats 3 whole lemons a day)

A friends did a documentary study using this cleanse on terminally ill folk who were sent home to kick the bucket and about 9/10 did not have to kick any bucket after doing the cleanse and changing to a healthy nutritious diet.

One Love
