Response to Goddaughter
Here is a posted comment that I want to answer with a whole blog entry. What a comment!
And all that it stirs!
I have to reimagine my life to, as you mentined, and i want to understand about god,
there are gods, goddesses, first source, source energy, and me as a fragmant of firstsource, and all that is, wright?
ther are “Elohim”,Adonay, yhvh, yehovah, etc,so the god that you write for ,is who? it is confusing, sometime i want to be able to know
to whome to speak ,and to prey, because i became an epicorsic, after i was raised in very relligius family, but i still know that my god, is inside of me, and i don’t know what to think,is he yeshua ben yosef, or else, can you tell?
i read all i can find, about my relligious,i appriciate your massage, i am able to feel the true love of god, and i honor you for bringing this to the wrold, are yo perhaps reincarnation of moses?
love .i עדנה לנדה god goddesse al that is daughter.
I love how the internet makes it possible for us to be neighbors and even family wherever our bodies happen to be.
Right away, I want to say how beautifully you express yourself. When you wrote: “I have to reimagine my life…” it sank in on me how magnificent is your choice of the word “reimagine.” What is perceiving ourselves and our lives in new ways but re-imagining. As all the people who post, you have deepened and widened my understanding of what God says in Heavenletters™.
You make me think of many things to say, and I want to say them all at once! I honor you and your question. I am not qualified to answer your precious question about God. I personally know very little.
Sometimes I think I am able to write down Heavenletters for the very reason that I don’t know much. I am becoming more and more grateful that I don’t know much! My ignorance makes it easy for me to accept what I hear God say. I don’t know enough to argue with God or even say: “But what about…?”
In any case, I am sure that Who and What is God and what is His real name, are unanswerable questions. We say words about God as best we can, yet God is not definable. If God were definable, he would not be God, the Boundless! I do believe that God doesn’t care about what we call Him! God, in whatever language We name Him, is God, and He is beyond any name we can give.
By some miracle, one day I discovered God. I think what I discovered was my unabashed love for God. I say Him because I don’t want to say Him/Her/It, and yet God is way beyond gender or any name we can give to Him.
I know people who refer to God as Spirit or our Higher Consciousness. For me personally, I just can’t relate to those words. I don’t argue them. I just can’t speak to those names. For me, it’s Dear God. I am unable to say Dear Spirit or Dear Higher Consciousness. I have no objection. It’s just that those names don’t do it for me!
I would think we can call God by any name we like. What name do you choose to use?
I respect God by any name He is called.
I try to stay away from discussions of religion here in the blog or in the Heavenletter Spiritual Community Forum, so that all people can feel comfortable to come here by whatever name they know God and by whatever religion they believe in or don’t believe in.
God must be in all religions, and yet I can’t see how God can exist only in religion or in any one specific religion. God is God, and He is above all the world. And yet God can appear in the world at the corner bar or in the grocery store. He is certainly within each of us.
I do think that when we Godwrite, it’s important to know to Whom we are writing. We don’t want to leave it up in the air. For me, it is God. For someone else it could be Jehovah or Allah or Adonay or God of My Fathers or Spirit or whatever name feels right to the person. God will know to Whom you are speaking. God hears us very well.
The word God is Dieu in French, Gott in German, Dio in Italian, Tanri in Turkish, Bog in Croatian! All the names work!
Dear, I don’t know the word epicorsic you wrote, yet I have an idea of what you mean. I think we use many words we don’t exactly know the meaning of. Words are only words! And that applies to the word God as well.
And yet, how beautiful are words, and how important and meaningful they are to us.
Beloved, you also wrote about our being “…a fragment of First Source, and All That Is…” I believe that God in Heavenletters says, as unimaginable as it is, we are not a fragment of God but One with God.
I think you sum it up when you say that you feel the true love of God. That does very well.
Please ask more of your questions, dear Goddaughter, and I would, of course, love to hear the responses from all the people who have read your post and this blog entry.
