Remarkable People and Beautiful Flowers
I’ve told you about the wonderful gym I go to and the wonderful people who own it and run it, Rob and Lucinda. Imagine, there is a twenty-four hour gym right in walking distance from where I live, and I love going there.
I never wanted these nice people to know that I had fallen on the treadmill. There never was the tiniest doubt that the accident was caused by my moment of total carelessness. I really didn’t want Rob and Lucinda to give it a thought or worry in any way.
If I had an accident with a car, no one from General Motors would ever care, nor would we expect them to. The accident would have had nothing to do with them. And so it was with my spill on the treadmill.
Somehow Rob and Lucinda found out. And, of course, they would give it a thought.
Lucinda called me right away.
And then the next day the Fairfield Flower Shop delivered a beautiful bouquet from Rob and Lucinda!
I would never want this accident to happen to anyone ever, but I tell you the sweetness from everyone, from Lucinda and Rob, from Lauren, and from dear friends like the blogreaders here sure has made an accident seem worthwhile!
May everyone who hurts in any way be so fortunate to be showered with blessings from so many beautiful people as I have been.
