If only someone would invent a cure for stage fright! How much more ease in the world there would be.  How much more ease there would be in my life!

God in Heavenletters™ has said something like this more than once:

“If you didn’t think you needed fear, why would you have it?”

I dunno.

Right now I have double stage fright because there are two internet radio shows coming up, one this evening (Monday) and one tomorrow (Tuesday) at noon.

What is there to be afraid of? (Well, I won’t start that list.)

This reminds me of a comment Jochen made on the forum:

Actually, I may have done the worst on an international TV Show a few years back. I was trying to say something about the movie Jesus Christ Superstar and discovered that I was absolutely incapable of remembering the word Superstar! I said Jesus Christ uh uh uh until Allan, the host of the show, Bridging Heaven and Earth, kindly supplied the missing word Superstar for me. Could I possibly do anything worse than that? And that show is still being circulated over Youtube.

I hear that there are interviews where the host plays the adversary and is determined to trip you up. But these two hosts love Heavenletters and are my good friends. They are so kind.

I will tell you what has really helped reduce my nervousness on interview shows, and that is your calling in and asking questions. This is the cure so long sought after.  When you ask a question, I forget myself for a while, and am reasonably calm.
