One time I had to be made to eat

The way Heaven Admin “tricked” me into drinking water,  reminds me once when I was about six or seven.

I had been sick and didn’t want to eat. In this case, it was fish.

My mother told me that my father had caught the fish himself. I thought that was strange because my father had never gone fishing.

I said, “Daddy never went fishing.”

“But he did,” my mother said. “He went to catch a fish for you.”

I said, “He didn’t. He was at the store all day.”

My mother said, “He caught this fish on his way home from work. He caught it for you.”

My mother embellished the story. I still didn’t believe it.

Soon my father came in to my bedroom and told me he had caught the fish just for me so I would eat it for him.

Then I happily ate the fish.

Now that fish must have been delicious. It goes to show you don’t have to be a fisherman to tell marvelous fisherman stories.
