My new watch

I lost my other watch. Where, I have no idea. It was quite an avant-garde watch. It was white and gorgeous. I seem to have a need to surround myself with the unusual.
And this watch was unusual enough so that I could buy it at My Lucky Day for $1.00 and get a new battery put in at Walmart and be happy.
Jacqueline admired my watch — she was with me at My Lucky Day when I bought the watch — and Lauren, my daughter, admired the photo of it. We even discussed it on the phone.
Then Lauren and I got a little sad because who else was there to really care if I got a watch or not, or got one I really like or not? Who was there to ooh and ahh over it? Who was there for me to show it off to?
And then I thought of the dear people who read this blog.
And so, here is the picture of my new watch again.
