Modern Life

Yes, yes, I know, I know, I’m late again! Not my doing!

We had violent thunder and lightning storms all night. I don’t think I ever heard such loud thunderclaps. Naturally, I unplugged my computer when the storms started and then went to bed. As it happens, my computer is networked off of Lauren’s, so nothing happens until she turns something on.

I was up at 3 a.m., and now, as I’m writing this, it’s after 8 a.m. and no internet connection. Waiting does not bring out the best in me. I’ve been pacing up and down and trying to make enough noise to wake Lauren, but to no avail.

It doesn’t matter that this same person who is still sleeping used to wake me up on occasion by gently lifting one of my eyelids by its lashes!

You realize the duress I’m under. I don’t know what’s going on in the Heavenletter Spiritual Community Forum world, or the blog world, or email world. I don’t know what’s waiting for me.

I haven’t been idle. I wrote down today’s Heavenletter. I wrote down God’s answer to someone’s personal question etc. No matter what I do, I am just not complete until the internet is connected. How can I live?

By the time you read this, you will know that Lauren did wake up (only after 9 a.m.) and did get the network going, and I am now, once again, safely restored to modern life.
