Linden Asks God a Question

Beloved blog readers, one of the inexplicable blessings in my life comes from my innocent part in receiving and delivering personal messages from God to those who ask their personal heartfelt questions. How I first dared to do this, I don’t know. And how the answers come, I don’t  know. I just know they do.

I have thought that, as the questioner opens his heart, somehow I get into his or her consciousness there, and so I hear God’s response as given to the individual who asks the question.

It is not like I have a clue as to how to get God’s answer. Nevertheless, the answers come.

It’s not like I personally know what the answer will be. I don’t. Even when I have the gall to think I know what the answer will be, the answer invariably isn’t what I thought it would be. God comes from an angle that is all His own.

I take a deep breath and go for it. Somehow something gets lit up, and the answer comes, and I write it down as it goes along.

No matter how personal a question may be, no matter how directed God’s answer is to the person who asked the question, no matter that the question asked isn’t a question I would personally think to ask, God’s words ease my heart. Every time. My guess is that God’s words fit into everyone’s heart and soothe the heart of every one who reads them. Will you let me know if this is true for you?

Linden’s question and answer are reprinted here with his permission, of course.  And that is a loving gift from Linden.

Note that Linden lives in the U.K. Linden is sixteen years old.

Linden to God:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I love this world, I feel most happy when I’m in Wales, Scotland, or Ireland. Something special about these places has drawn me to them, always has, especially recently now I have begun to think, well quite often in fact, of Ireland, happy people, very religious people, and a stunningly beautiful country, intertwined with legend and meaning for its people.

But two points are always playing on my mind.  Firstly: people who explain that religious experiences/out of body experiences are as a result of epilepsy/complex magnetic field-waves. This I think fogs the hearts of a lot of people. How can this be made compatible with Your existence for people?

As you know, my mother has experienced you/the cosmos/a presence in church before, so this plays on my mind quite a lot, has been doing especially so within the past few months. Why can’t skeptics believe in this stuff?

Secondly, on the subject of Ireland, I’m really intrigued by the idea of fairies, I’m supposing that they don’t have a physical form, thus are also spiritual beings. Perhaps they are quiet creatures, I really don’t know but it intrigues me, as you’re aware I’ve even been planning on asking Brother Seán about whether he’s ever sighted anything of the sort in his homeland, and perhaps even spending some peaceful time in the woods around Killarney this Summer relaxing myself, if I go that is.

I feel as if I am loving, but that I could do so much better, these questions/thoughts are just bothering me, nearly on a day-to-day basis.

Much love from my heart;

Linden

God to Linden:

Beloved Son of Mine, you indeed do live in a beautiful place on Earth. You are attuned to yourself where you are. Fortunate are you among My children.

I am in awe of your beautiful heart. Yes, I, God, am in awe of your beautiful heart which is Mine, all Mine, all beautiful, all loving.

The first commandment for you, My beloved son, is to love yourself with all your heart (which is Mine.) Ah, simply to love yourself, and then what else remains? What else must be done or not done? Love love and love this beautiful soul of Mine in a human form in a certain sector of Earth who goes by the name of Linden.

And you are entwined with legend.

Yes, there are fairies, wee Earth devas who nourish the land and its gardens and lift the spirits of all those who love nature. Why not visit where your heart wants to take you? Your heart is to be served and not denied.

It matters not if you see fairies or if anyone does. You have felt their presence just as you feel Mine.

It matters not what other people believe or say. Consider skeptics as background noise. It’s just there.

They are not for you to listen to. Let them squawk while you know what you know. Let go of thoughts about others. They are no concern of yours, beloved. They can be as you are, free to see as they see. They are also free to not see. Their consciousness is not your business, dear child, just as you are not their business.

Your beloved mother experiences what she experiences. She can experience, as can you, in church or in a field or in a bar or anywhere, for I am everywhere. I am unseen yet known. Your heart is a Great Knower. Listen to your heart.

Now put your thoughts onto what your heart knows. Let not your mind interfere with the sweet simplicity of your life. You have everything, beloved. All of life now is for you to enjoy inside and outside, and so will you give great joy to the world. In that you are of great service to Me.

You will be finding more and more ways to serve. This is not to think about. When the time comes, you will simply do what comes next.

You are one of my gifts to humanity. You love enough. Stop nitpicking with yourself, My beloved son. Remember Me, for you I lead, and I lead you well.

Now I hug you to Me, and I kiss the crown of your head, and I give you great blessings so that you may behold the majesty of life and know that you are true to My heart.

I AM your Heavenly Father, and you are My beloved son.

“Ah, simply to love yourself, and then what else remains? What else must be done or not done?”

Upon hearing such words, how could you not feel at home immediately, how could you not feel that everything is going to be all right eventually; you don’t know how, you don’t know when, you only know it will. Of course, it’s only about seeing it or not.

Linden, I have seen Ireland once. Strange how your words transport me there. You must really love it.

On pg 278 of An Autobiography of a Yogi, there is a story of how Lahiri Mahasaya’s wife, not knowing the spiritual altitude of her husband, woke up to find him surrounded by flying, illumined angelic beings. Thereafter she became his disciple.

I’m so happy God acknowledged the “wee Earth devas”! How beautiful are the infinite aspects of existence.

Like Linden I’m drawn to Ireland and Scotland. I have a strong impulse to visit this land, just as I was drawn to South America. Thanks for asking a question Linden and allowing it to be published.

Thank you, Linden, for a beautifully framed question and thank you, Gloria, for being such a faithful writer of Godde’s answer. “Now I hug you to Me, and I kiss the crown of your head, and I give you great blessings so that you may behold the majesty of life and know that you are true to My heart.” Sigh.

Thankyou for all your nice comments; I’m glad to have asked a question which has been of some benefit to you.
Yes I really do reccoment visiting Ireland or Scotland. Obviously not all Scootland/Ireland is spiritual in the celtic way, but in the west particularly a lot of traditions have been handed down, in particular that of second sight, an ability to percieve events before they actually happen.

Since I want to connect to the landscape more, I’m trying to learn about these ancient traditions, perhaps I could ask God for advice on how best to use them, a lot of current celtic tradition/oneness is based upon records in ancient irish, it’d be great to have some up-to-date advice.
Interestingly in another letter God mentioned that I was to serve him well at some point in the future, and that he’d tell me when.
This could be in any way?
Btw: great thanks to Gloria for posting this letter on here, it’s great that others can see this.

Much Love;
Dia dhaoibh (God to you) in Irish

Beloved Linden, great thanks to you for allowing your personal question to God to be posted!

Does Mo Cushla mean beloved one in Irish?

Reply from Lianden on April 13, 2009

Should be spelt: ‘Mo chuisle’ I think, yes it means ‘beloved’, or more literally ‘my pulse’.
And thanks for posting my question =D

Reply from Gloria on April 14, 2009

Thank you for the spelling, dear one.

You also asked me about how to post on the Heavenletter Spiritual Community Forum.

The easiest way is to press that Add Comment link that appears at the end of the text of each Heavenletter. Press that link, and it will take you to a box under the specific Heavenletter where you can type in what you have to say about that Heavenletter or Heavenletters in general.

Again, thank YOU for sharing your personal question and God’s answer with all of us. It is a privilege you give to us.

With love and blessings,

Gloria

Dear Linden,

how beautifull hear about Ireland! If I ever had a home on Earth it was Ireland. I don’t know why, bacause I am never been there, but this land is my home (I have certain remembrance…). This year I hope to go in Ireland and I have a doubt: if I will go then I will return? Certanly, here are my sons. I went in Scottland many years ago and I’m not able to describe how fantastic it was!
Dear, many thanks to you for the gift you gave me.
And thank you to permit pubblishing your high speach with God. Many years ago I saw fairies, and I always had doubts about that experience. What orizon you have opened to me! Lovely thinks to you. Pitta
