Is God in Heavenletters Different

Sometimes we’re so close to a subject we don’t see the whole. We see the details but not where we’re going. That’s what I’ve been doing, it seems to me. I’ve been more like a settler than a pioneer. Tell me you know what I mean.

What if we had e-books and/or CD’s something like these:

The 7 Best Heavenletters on Death

The 7 Best Heavenletters on Getting Past Grieving

The 7 Best Heavenletters on Health

The 7 Best Heavenletters on the Meaning of Life

There could be a lot of 7 Best Heavenletter e-books. Not that I think I’m capable of choosing the 7 top Heavenletters on anything. I might as well just close my eyes and pick out 7!

Which topics for big little e-books might you think of?

I’m trying to think of simple easy ways to get God’s ideas in Heavenletters out to the world.

When my friend Jon was over, one of the things he said was:

“Take a popular topic, and start a controversy. Everyone believes one way, and God thinks another way.”

I see what Jon is trying to have happen.

I did think of one subject that God isn’t altogether in agreement with. And that is prayer. God has said something about our not needing, and not coming from the position of need that prayer seems to bring out of us. I have the impression that He doesn’t want us asking for things as though we are needy and powerless. I don’t think He actually said he was against prayer, and I also know that on occasion he has suggested a prayer or two, yet prayer could be a hot topic.

I suppose we could get a lot of attention with a headline: GOD DOESN’T BELIEVE IN PRAYER!

Can we support that?  I’m not sure.

Does God have an opposite view to the norm when He says that we all get to Heaven? that He doesn’t believe in sin? that He doesn’t believe in punishment? that He doesn’t believe in karma? that He says there is no cause?

At 12:30 today Central Daylight Savings Time today, a great young man is going to interview me over the phone. Then the group he’s with http://love-olution.com/ will make a CD of the interview along with nine or so other interviews with other people whose sites champion love.  Bernie is going to be one of the people interviewed. There will be more about this in the next Heaven News.

Hmm, I wonder if it’s a good idea for me to bring out some of these points in this interview. What do you think?

I think it is on Amazon.com that people can post lists of books they consider most important on any given subject. Sometimes there is more than one list. Sometimes the lists on the same subject are quite different from each other. There is nothing to give any particular list any kind of authority other than the opinion and ability of the person making it. There may be people here who would enjoy coming up with such lists.

Great books may have contradictions within them. This is not so surprising if you consider that the words in any particular place are addressed to a particular situation, and that a different situation may call for a different way of looking at it.

So I would not find it surprising if apparent contradictions can be found within the HeavenLetters. I would expect that some of these can be reasonably explained by the different situation or subject being addressed, and some of them might just leave you saying, “Hmmmmmm.”

There is a potential problem in pulling quotes out of context, for you can make them support any idea or position by ignoring the counterbalancing words. As with HeavenLetters, it is important to keep the overall spirit behind all the words in view.

In questions such as you raise today, and in your thoughts on promoting HeavenLetters to make them more known, I would expect that God would be able to answer such questions far better than I can.

I can’t be of any help as I dislike: all “interviews” especially “over the phone”; having “a lot of attention”;”hot topics”; lists of any kind; “the norm” and “what is out of the norm”. I only know that Heavenletters are for Heavenreaders.

Oh Emilia, How I agree with you. Intervues are topics the interviewer is interesteed in not the intervewee. Although if the topic is LOVE then I could talk for hours but will the intervewer let me? Love to ALL Jack

Beloved Emilia, you have innocently given us a great slogan! “Heavenletters are for Heavenreaders.” I love it!

Beloved Charles, be assured we would never mislead anyone. We wouldn’t do it, and we would never want to.

I had the interview with this very nice guy, Aaron, and he used the word dramatic which I think is a very good word for me to think about.

Beloved Jack, I think it would be a great idea to interview you! That is a fabulous idea!

The more I think about it, we might want to interview several of the luminaries who comment here on the blog and on the forum. Heaven Admin, what do you think?

I agree that it is easy to be so close to a topic that you feel strongly about that you can get lost in the details and not be very clear about where it is all going. This problem is compounded further by the uniqueness of our individual personalities and the way we are influenced by our personal life experiences and life paths. But we balance each other when we engage in a group effort and any excesses or quirks can be filtered out by the group effort and interchange. This is particularly true when tolerance and respect are highly valued aspects of this dialogue.

I like the “7 best” idea. I have spontaneously begun to copy certain Heavenletters and place them into folders when they address a particular topic that is important to me. I find that reviewing a group of key letters about an important topic gives me a much better and more in depth view of the Heavenletter input on that topic.

An idea emerges from your blog and these considerations: why not start forum topics about certain topics that readers could use to place their suggestions for the key sources? At some point, someone could use this as a basis for a short ebook about that topic.

I like the idea of popular topics, but not so much as a means to to place a controversial slant on things. I have noticed that certain problems we all struggle with come up frequently in the letters as well as the personal questions to God forums. These are dealt with with great sensitivity and a wealth of useful suggestions for action. An ebook about a topic like the death of a loved one, drug addiction, illness, etc. would be a wonderful resource to send to a friend or even for a therapist to give to a client in need of help. Ebooks like these may also be wonderful introductions to Heavenletters for people unaware of their value.

Topics wouldn’t have to be limited to human problems, of course, and might include topics like prayer that some of us want to explore in detail or very comforting concepts like our Oneness and our innate access to Truth in our hearts. A potential way to start might be a forum asking for input about potential topics.

Hi Gloria,

I’m not sure why I didn’t see this one yesterday..

Here is a question; why do we call God “he”?

I took several workshops many years ago with a man called Paul Solomon. He has passed on, but I believe his centre is still on-going in Virginia. He was all about love and light and healing.

He used to say that. God doesn’t mind if we call her “he”.

I happen to agree with God, when it comes to prayer. If we are always praying for those things we need, or the strength do something, or help with facing a fear, we will always be in that place. Needing, fearing, etc. I personally don’t think God that is what has in mind.

And I think Chuck has an excellent point. We need to take in the entire Heavenletter. How many times have you or I had a discussion, and someone else repeats one sentence out of that entire discussion. Taking things out of context.

Take good care.

In love & light,
Lynda

Someone recently asked that same question on the forum. I also found it was asked and answered on the FAQ page.

Question: Why do you refer to God as He in Heaven Letters? Is not God the Mother/Father God? Whatever happened to the Mother of Everything or Mother Divine? When we talk to God, are we also talking to Mother Divine?

Gloria’s answer: To make it simple, a choice had to be made. God is fine with whatever you are comfortable with.

What God says:

“I am God. I am Everything. I am God the Father and God the Mother. But I am neither male nor female and I am both. I am all.

“Male and female are energies. He and She are manners of speaking. All words are metaphors for the energy they represent.

“If you call to Me as Mother Divine, I bear that in mind in My answer. But it is you who calls Me Mother Divine or Father God.

“I am I, whatever form I appear to you in. I am I, no matter what form you like Me to be in.

“How you address Me is up to you. It doesn’t matter to Me. You matter to Me, and I will respond to your heart.”

Thank you Gloria That was beautiful. Father/Mother GOD as so often others express GOD,gives me the feeling that the writer or speaker is afraid to offend people from either Gender. To me GOD will do fine. I will cut and paste your answer and GOD’s words and will look at it often Love to all Jack

Great discussions here. To get to the point about prayer, dear Gloria, within the quotes above (about addressing Godde as ‘He’) is the answer to the prayer question as well …

“Male and female are energies. He and She are manners of speaking. All words are metaphors for the energy they represent.

I’ve always had this hesitation with praying for something because these prayers are very often answered. Prayer often merges into a quiet space of wordless intention.

God is always lifting us up to the big picture. It’s more like; Be sure of what you are asking for!

The big little Heavenletter books idea is super duper. I’m in.

Interviews are so much fun. I really enjoyed the Bridging Heaven and Earth interviews (on the about page of this blog) of you Senora. And the radio shows too! The “luminaries” of Heavenletter readers and the blog will make awesome interviewees! Do we get to be the interviewers? This is a bright light on my enjoyment radar.

Heavenletters is on Twitter now where we are allowed 140 characters per tweet which is perfect for a powerful Heavenletter quote. Its a win win, because Twitter allows us to link to the complete Heavenletter.

This Thread is very interesting to me.
I Have struggled with many things that seem to contradict one another. At my level of understanding at this moment, it tends to be that every statement is both true and false at the same time. This may sound like relativism or cliche. But i dont really mean either one of these. I Believe in Truth, and that is it Living. Many times with HeavenLetters i read something that seems contradictory to a scripture or something else i believe is true. So i have to make a space for it, like… How can this be true and the other at the same time? or well, I’m searching like everyone here and Dad many times blows our minds with what He says.
It seems to come down to what is actually going on in the moment that gives the context of What is truth, which maybe isnt really an understanding or principle as it is probably a Person, Dad Himself?
I once heard that Dad doesnt do something because it is right , He does out of Love, Because He is Love.
Now that i have written this, i really wonder what Dad thinks about this, lol.
And Yes, many things really seem to gel with His help, that seem first to contradict. Maybe i dont believe in Truth afterall, Maybe Dad, Who is my Truth, believes in me?
I love You Dad. We Love YOU.
