I love a miracle
Heaven Admin is reading a book called God’s Smuggler. Isn’t that a great title? And aren’t we all smugglers for God?
Among other things, Heaven Admin wrote:
The missionaries prayed for everything. Verbal prayers. Prayers out aloud. Tag team praying. Group praying. Brother Andrew got all his prayers answered in one way or another. In the book he writes about several miracles of how money would just appear via someone or on the road and it would always be just enough for what was required.
Many years ago a friend of mine told me a true story. I just love this story. Talk about the faith of a mustard seed. The nun in this story had the equivalent of a whole bushel of mustard seeds. This is the story as best I remember it:
There was a retired nun who had taught school. Somehow she had freedom and independence. One day the impulse come to her that she was supposed to move to California. Right away, she packed her bag, and just sat in a chair in the middle of her room with her coat on, and she waited.
Even her nun friends questioned what she was doing. Just sitting there waiting for someone to arrive to take her to California? It was absurd. She should be making calls and arrangements.
After a few hours, however, one of the nuns knocked on the California-bound nun’s door. A gentleman in a car had gotten lost and had stopped to asked for directions. Where was he going? To California. Would he take a passenger? Yes. And who was this gentleman who had miraculously answered the nun’s request but a former student of hers from years ago.
Why are we surprised?!!!
Oh, I had a little miracle this morning! Not of the breadth and depth of many miracles. Nevertheless, it’s my miracle!
I opened my February Heaven News document where I keep the new countries and states subscribers have recently come from and notes about this and that as I go along, and it was blank. Total blank. I tried two times. Total blank. I thought I must have accidentally highlighted it when I closed it, and everything had been deleted. I tried to restore it. Blank. I was not happy.
After my interior tantrum, I resigned myself to starting over and opened the very same document to reconstruct it, and everything that had disappeared appeared. It was all there!!!!
I am sure that there are many factual explanations for this, but I don’t want to hear them! I like to think of this as my miracle!
What are some of the miracles you have experienced first-hand or witnessed or heard about? Will you tell us?
