Going with your idea in terms of prayer wheels, at the entrance of the temple we could place a type of handle attached to a pulley. When turned the handle would turn all the prayer wheels in one revolution. 100s of prayers in one motion.

I know I heard the term -- prayer wheels -- but I never had a clue to what they were.

I just looked up prayer wheels in Google:

a cylinder with prayers written on it; each revolution counts as uttering the prayers.

So this was serious. It's kind of sweet.

I heard that someone invented a way to generate electricity from those prayer wheels. Apparently at some temples these wheels are spun by thousands of people daily. They would generate enough electricity to electrify the temples. How cool is that!

i had a friend the other day send me an email about a woman who asked him to pray for her and her son.
Basically there was an accident involving this lady's son and a member of a gang. the member of the gang was killed and she feared retaliation from the Gang and specifically his brother who was part of the gang.
Anyway He asked Dad how He wanted Him to pray for this lady. Dad told him not to pray for the lady but for the gang that they would not be influenced to retaliate.
My friend was surprised by this.
It turned out the gang did come to town and the brother ended up coming to the this lady's house. She said he stayed for a while and told about how his brother had a drinking problem and even they were trying to get to see it but he didnt and he apologized to them and gave the Dad a hug on the way out.
i thought this was interesting.
i thought you might find it interesting too.
