This is a photoblog entry. It’s set on the East Coast of Africa at a world heritage site called The Aliwal Shoal.

Underwater the light is diffused creating a blue hue. To get colour into a picture the photographer has to get close to the subject. A flash with duffuser is often required.

This was the first time I photographed underwater, but now I’m hooked!

Here is a link to a touching inter-species adventure in the sea brought to us by video. I don’t understand the language but the movie tells the sweet story of a very smart Penguin.

It struck me that this description, tho not necessarily the picture itself, might fit most of the people who hang out here.

Then I went back and saw that most, maybe all, of the descriptions might work here and there along the way.

Who knows, the pictures might fit as well!
