Galloping white horses

Here’s something I love when it happens by itself:

I love it when I’m asleep at night and all during the night, ideas run through my head, usable ideas, not just flights of fancy that seem wonderful in that Neverland the thoughts seem to come from but ideas that still hold up in daylight.

Like last night, ideas for the The Little Things, the book Heaven Admin suggested I write,  just burst through, crowds of them.  I am really getting excited now! Maybe the ideas would have occurred to me anyway, but, as it was, the ideas, like butterflies, flew to me. Or maybe the ideas were like galloping white horses!

These ideas aren’t momentous. They’re mostly little memories that have been tucked away or new insights on how to make the book original.

This morning, I have the sense that I remember all the thoughts  I had but one! What is that one missing thought!!!

But, gosh, as I’m writing now, new ideas are pushing their way in. Excuse me for a minute while I go write them down in that exemplary new computer program Heaven Admin made for me yesterday.

To say that this writing program was made for me is an understatement! It was indeed made expressly for me and my non-linear right brain. Heaven Admin made it so I can keep and organize my writing in a way that fits my loose style and makes me soar!

It’s not a program that makes me stay within lines, you understand. It’s a program that flows with me. It follows my mind. It picks up after me! This program Heaven Admin made is kind of like having a maid who understands my style and makes it easy for me to keep my clothes sorted and closet workable. I can easily find what I’m looking for, and the maid serves cheerfully no matter how many times I might change my mind, and this maid has a way of making it fun for me.

With this computer maid, it’s like all I have to do is to think my ideas and imagine where they might go and in a flash, there they are, and if I find I want to put them somewhere else, no problem, the maid is ready to assist. She’s amazing. And when I want to add ten more dresses, there is plenty of room for them. I am able to sort any way I want to — and instantly!

Heaven Admin delivered this easy-for-me system yesterday, and already I am using a another copy of the same program for the How to Godwrite book! This program has recharged me.

You may have thought that Heaven Admin excelled only in preparing and serving marvelous food, and now you have a better idea of the extent of how he serves without anyone’s having to ask. He sees a need and fills it before the one it’s for has a clue. Just the way he unexpectedly walks in with a big homemade cookie, he cooks up the most delicious writing program.

Muchas gracias, Senor.

Any chance of that writing program being offered as Shareware or just for sale to help finance the trip?

Reply from Gloria on January 10, 2010

Heaven Admin means for this program to be shared. I can’t speak for him, but that’s what he said. I can’t imagine it otherwise, and, good for you for asking.

And, beloved Charles, if I say this program is easy to use, you can believe me!!! I needed just a tiny start, and now I own it.

Heaven Admin sees a project as a garden. Naturally, he wants to share the fruits of the garden.

Charles, I would be happy to setup a copy of it for you and Chuck (and 3 more folk who read here) to test out. Comment on this post and I will contact you. You would be helping me improve the software by using it.

Yet, the biggest test has already been passed. It has been approved by Gloria.

Santhan, good friend, please send it to me.

Thanks!

Yes, please, if you still need testers, I would love to try this out. I have several customer service articles needing my attention and I have a feeling this would serve my editing very well.

Santhan, thank you so much! Really looking forward to this.

It looks as though you have enough testers, but if not by all means i would be glad to test it for you.

Lynda, it looks like you’re the 5th! I think I’m not counted in the five!

I would love to know what kind of writing everybody does.

Pam is writing some articles.

I know some of Chuck’s writing is putting Heaven ebooks together. (This program might be helpful to us with those.

So Charles, Jochen, and Lynda, what are you writing!

I’m not really writing much myself, but this program sounds like a great tool for noting down ideas and then grouping and regrouping them to see where they lead me. I have the idea that, with this program, everything remains malleable and movable until you are clear about where you want to go. That’s what I like: To keep things in flow until they find the precise shape they want to take.

Oh, will it run on a Mac?

Ok, Lynda is the lucky 5th. I’ll forward you the email I wrote to everyone else in a moment. Jochen, yes it will run on a Mac ‘cos it sits on a central webserver.

Yes, I sometimes write customer service articles for trade magazines. I also have workshops that I like to outline and develop, or at least ideas for such.

Also, when I’m editing a book, it would be great to have a way to organize what I’m working on.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU …

Dear Santhan, will you inform us, when your software creation is available for everybody in some shops here and there?

I would like to buy it and work with it and to try my hand at it. Why not buy it, when time has come?
