For God
In a comment under Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Paula, who translates Heavenletters into Italian every day, described receiving a spontaneous message from God.
Paula wasn’t sitting down to Godwrite, but there it was – she unmistakably heard words from the Voice for God. She received a very important message.
That same morning, after reading about Paula’s experience, I had a similar spontaneous experience of hearing from God. What I mean is I didn’t sit down to Godwrite, and I wasn’t anticipating hearing anything. In my case, I was just mumbling to myself.
was sending out the plain text Heavenletters from my computer. I do this every day for seven or eight subscribers who receive HTML illegibly, the print way too small or the Heavenletter filled with HTML codes, something so annoying that, of course, I had to do something about it. Plain text was the simple answer.
The plain text Heavenletters are the only ones I personally still send out to subscribers There was a time I sent out all the Heavenletters. Of course, there weren’t so many subscribers then. Now Heaven Admin and a computer program send out the 5,000 or so HTML Heavenletters.
It’s simple to send out the plain text Heavenletters. All I do is copy/paste the HTML Heavenletter I receive every morning and put it into a plain text message in my email program. Then I delete some of the template words that do not apply, like my password and so on, and address it. Of course, I have a group list, and, so, once the plain text Heavenletter is set up, it’s one press of the mouse, and the Heavenletter is sent.
It’s no big deal. It takes me maybe three minutes to do this, that’s all.
Yet routine things are not my favorite.
This morning, as I was putting the plain text Heavenletter together, I said in my mind, “God, why am I doing this little thing day after day for years and years.” I wasn’t even really talking to God. I was mumbling to myself.
Then I heard God say, “Why, Gloria, you do this for Me.
These few words — “Why, Gloria, you do this for Me,” made me sit up straight. How many times in Heavenletters has God made this point – that all we do, we do for God. Had I forgotten?
God’s simple comment was electrifying. Right away my day was brightened because I am so very happy to do anything for God. How this gladness to be with God and do for God happened to me, I don’t really know, but, suddenly, there was God, and that was it. Although it’s been quite a few years now, I am still amazed.
Because of what God said, I remembered and felt, once again, how privileged and blessed and fortunate I am to be the one who sends out a few plain text Heavenletters every day for God. And I remember all the rewards and all the blessings that come from so many directions - like you, reading this blog entry.
