It's fantastic that you have found a wonderful home for Jack, with kind people, friendly dogs, and open spaces. No doubt he will lose his fear of the sheep just as he lost his earlier fears of the leash, etc. I have seen TV programs about people who use sheepdogs on their farms. (It was in Scotland, I think.) The dogs need to be trained, and those who work with th sheep dogs need to know what they are doing. I wonder if there are any trainers who do this thing in this country.

Ah, some tears while leaving the farm. Good for Jack, good for Mike and Nance, good for everyone concerned. I will not be surprised if Jack starts to get this working business figured out once he is settled in. Possibly Mike knows someone with a working sheep dog who could bring it by and demonstrate for Jack.

How fitting that the Heavenletter today was about loving without attachment. Seems Jack has that concept down pat ... now for the rest of us!
