Dollars and cents
Amazing how our brain waves focus entirely differently when it comes to dollars and cents! I can feel those brain waves squeezing themselves — talking dollars sure feels different from talking about the unbounded.
If I would get up and find the notebook Jacqueline kept so accurately, I could give you an exact figure! But since I’m too lazy to get up and look for the notebook, I will simply say we took in $600 - $700 dollars.
$200 for thirteen boxes of top of the line bamboo flooring. A really nice couple got a great deal.
Jewelry topped bamboo flooring, mainly because Nancy and Alison were so generous. About $350 from jewelry.
A lawn sweeper and other outdoor items about $75.
The bulk of the rest came from miscellaneous.
The round pedestal dining-room table didn’t sell. The platform bed did not. The charming hooked rug did not.
The plus is that we met some really great people, and I found out how many angels there are.
It would be a good idea to continue the moving sale for next weekend, yet I am simply not up to it. I’ve got to focus on getting everything out by a week from today and, hopefully, leaving the house sparkling clean for once in its life.

I started writing this early in the morning, and was interrupted. In came another angel brought by the moving sale, yet our meeting was about much more than the moving sale. This beautiful person came as a blessing. No sale or any amount of dollars could possibly pay for or be equal to the angel who came to my door today. What an amazing series of events. It was like having a high spiritual experience. Can it be that my life is becoming one spiral of a miracle after another?
In the next blog entry, I’ll tell you more.
