Jack, I have to agree with you that it is our intention that is all important. If we hold a better intention, we move along our path more quickly and with much greater joy!

You are welcome, pitta, and welcome to all the others who have thanked me for asking my question. It is I who owe the thanks, though! My question has been answered far beyond my wildest expectations! I thank God for His loving answers and for inspiring His loving children to help in this search for answers.

I also thank whoever dropped the coin on the chapel floor for me to find. It is amazing how many times I find myself touching this coin in my right pocket. Each time it sete my thoughts down a most marvelous path. I reflect on how every aspect of God's creation is a symbol of His love. Then I reflect on the Heavenletter message that behind every face I come in contact with is an unseen soul that glows with God's love in their heart. I finish up thinking about how there is nothing in the world to worry about when God is right here with me fingering this lovely coin through my hand. I am left feeling a warm and peaceful glow after each time I touch this coin! What a gift!

Dear Chuck, To me the most important in Gods Reply was " If you have the Intention" I know that from the time God told me to try Practising LOVE live has been Paradise. In the beginning it was fairly hard and when I lost my temper the thought came to me about LOVE and I calmed down and life is getting better daily, living in Paradise has many beautiful surprises and I am forever being thankful for everything, Many times when I questoned my progress I am being Told Your intention is there and you are doing Fine so build on your intention and you get all the help you need Love you ALL Jack

Thanks, everyone for your lovely comments and Gloria for facilitating this and God for his ever-present love, help and gifts. There are not words to describe how appreciative I am.

When I felt the impulse to put this question on the forum comment, I was very hesitant. I almost didn’t. I knew it was an honest and important question for me, but I felt I would be exposing myself too much to the “public” nature of these forums. I took the plunge and now wonder how I could have been so doubting and so untrusting. Nothing but love has poured forth from a lot of others and from God to me. And I am so thankful to all.

This question of the million dollar windfall is a very important one. I don’t think money can ever be tainted; only our attitude towards it can be tainted. I suspect these attitudes are what block it from coming into our lives and this is God’s point here. It is world thought that labels certain portions of money: “ill gotten gains.” I doubt God Himself would ever make these kind of judgments on largesse He provides for us.

A couple of experiences in my life illustrate these things for me and I would like to share them here. One was years ago before I had finished college. I had just transferred to Drexel University in Philadelphia and I was relying on VA entitlement money to support me at school full time. A paperwork foul up by the VA stopped the checks I was depending on. My rent was overdue and my landlord was threatening to evict me. I went to my savings to withdraw my last 20 dollars for food and lo and behold my balance showed $5,020! I wrested with what to do. Oh how nice it would have been to just withdraw that money! After a day or so I reported the mistake and it turned out the money was the total life savings of an elderly woman that had been transferred to my account because one digit in her account number was transcribed in error. I knew it wasn’t mine and if I had spent that money, I would have always known, in the back of my mind, that my actions would not have been honorable.

My second story was from a recent event in my life. There is a small chapel in one of the hospitals in my town that is rarely used. I often spend spare moments there in prayer and meditation. Several days ago, I found a large gold coin on the floor of this chapel. It was a gorgeous coin with the countenance of Christ on one side and the scene of the last supper on the other. The love of the creator of this coin was obvious ! Since it was a big coin, its value, if it were to be solid gold, was not lost on me either. I debated about what to do. I figured it would be picked up by someone else if I just put it back on the floor so I might as well keep it, but then I thought the person who lost it might come back looking for it. I put it back on the floor. The next day it was still on the floor so I picked it up and kept it. I never expected to ever know how or why it was there, but I knew it was valuable to me. I could keep it always in my pocket and be reminded of God’s presence and Christ’s mission whenever my hand touched it. Then last night I showed it to a friend at a party and she recognized it! She knew it was produced at the direction of a plantation owner nearby who had thousands of them made to remind people of Christ’s love for them. This gentleman died last year of Lou Gehrig’s disease. I am told he commissioned these coins after his disease was very advanced and he gave the instructions for what he wanted through a translator of his hand signals, since he could no longer talk. What an inspiration this man is. What a gift! Now I am completely at peace with having kept it.

Yes, I think everything is God’s gift to us. It is our heart that tells us how to handle His gifts for their ultimate benefit and use. No man-made rules matter.

May God’s love and abundance be apparent to all, always…….Chuck

Well, I just had add another comment.

I was ready to leave the site, and on a whim (does God ever have my number!)I thought, I am going to pick a cosmic card.
Do you know what is was? Heavenletter #1996 - The Poem of You. In this one letter, it talks about much of what I am experiencing, and just what I was meant read.
