Bernie Siegel’s Questions
Bernie Siegel, M.D., Author, Connecticut, asked some theoretical questions for God all in a batch, as follows:
how did God come out of the nothing
how was the One created
and how did the One create everything else
what is the process of creation
how does intelligence come from a protein molecule
and what does God say about cloning
Please understand this is not the way you ask questions of God. Over the years, Bernie and I have become real friends, so I immediately wrote back to Bernie with firm instructions on how to ask questions of God through Heavenletters™. First of all, you begin by addressing God. You say Dear God, for instance. You give the background of your questions. Why does your question matter to you? And, besides, the questions for God through Heavenletters™ are questions from the heart, absolutely not intellectual nor theoretical, and so on.
As soon as I had emailed the instructions, God surprised me by coming in with answers for Bernie in a very few words, just the terse way Bernie expresses himself, and I had no choice but to write down the answers that came.
I thought you might like to see this exception to the rule of asking questions and God’s answers, of course:
How did God come out of the nothing?
I always was. I appeared to Myself.
How was the One created?
I am the Uncreated. I just AM. Being is not created. It is existence before manifestation of existence. I am the everness of Eternity. I am without beginning and without end.
And how did the One create everything else?
Desire. Will. Impulse of thought. Moving energy.
What is the process of creation?
Automatic.
How does intelligence come from a protein molecule?
It can come from anything I say.
And what does God say about cloning?
I say man has free will.
