Athens!

What can I say but that Athens is beautiful. Everywhere there are balconies and plants and flowers. Streets curve, and there are hills.
There is even a small mountain in the center of Athens. Not torn down, thank goodness. I have never seen anything like Athens.

I had a corner room in the Museum Hotel, and my balcony went all around. Below are some views from my hotel window:

Below,when you go to the shopping districts, storeowners stand out in front telling you their wares, calling to you to come in.

The day I arrived at Panos’ office, I was treated with a massage. I thought it was a massage, but it was more. Lesbia who was visiting from Spain has a system called Sparkles which includes amazing herbs and oils and other surprises. It turns out I was being cleared of all past programming and given all kinds of glorious benefits. Can you imagine being treated so absolutely royally? Never in my life did I ever dream of such benevolence as I found in Greece.

Katya is Mrs. Panos. What a love. She took me shopping. Such love everywhere.

Later when it comes to the workshop, you’ll see a picture’ of Katya, The photos of Katya and me apparently didn’t come out. I hope I’ll have a chance for another photo with Katya and me because Katya was a highlight of my trip.

Dearest Gloria,
It is so wonderful to see the photos. We can see the love beaming from each photo. I long to be in Athens with you! The last time I was there I was with my wife Sheila and we were supposed to meet a group of tourists from Gainesville, Florida who all studied the Course In Miracles together. We drove clear across the Peloponnesian Peninsula to Athens and went to the Acropolis first. Our Course In Miracles friends had told me they were staying in Hotel Belarus so we thought we’d just look it up in the phone book. Ever try to read a Greek phone book? Well, we finally figured out there are about 5 or 6 Hotels named “Belarus”. I said to my doubtful wife: I’ll just ask the Holy Spirit which one it is and we’ll drive straight there. She looked at me like I had just set my self on fire. I closed my eyes and meditated right there in our rental car outside the Acropolis. I didn’t hear anything so I opened my eyes and looked at the page with all the hotels listed. I swear that one of the hotel names looked like someone was shining a light on it so that it was highlighted compared to the others. I said, “This is the one!” I got out the map and with Sheila as my unbelieving navigator we drove clear on the other side of Athens (it is so huge!) and 2 or 3 hours later stopped 30 yards from the hotel entrance. I walked inside and asked if the people from Gainesville, Florida had arrived already. The clerk said, “They just went to dinnner.” I sprang back to the car so that I could do my little “Victory Dance” in front of Sheila. She’s not such a great doubter anymore because I constantly remind her of Athens and other such miracles:-) Love to all, David

This is my first visit to the website although I have been receiving Heaven Letters for a couple of weeks(I love them!) Today I had some time and caught the link at the bottom of today’s letter and decided to have a visit and I am so glad I did. I was first greeted with your sharing of Athens (what a treat). I have always loved Greece from afar. Perhaps I had a previous life there, or maybe a future one, there is definitely a connection there. I could feel so strongly, as you spoke of it, the love that is there in her beauty, in her people. Thank you for that.

I never knew I would visit Greece. But ever since I saw the movie, Shirley Valentine, I wanted to visit Greece. And it came true.

Rainah, I feel like I know you. Perhaps it is that I remember your name from when you subscribed! I can see that you do live love.
