Annette Asks God a Personal Question

Annette asks God a personal question through Heavenletters™. Annette, of course, gave us  her permission. to share this:

8-29-08

Annette to God:

Dear God,

Thank You for all Your blessings and for helping me to gain faith and clarity.

I feel I am on the cusp of a big transformation. I have some questions.

Once again, I request clarification about diet. My doctor believes that all disease and degenerative conditions in the body, including aging, are caused and aggravated by yeast and such, all of which everyone has to some degree. When the immune system is not strong, he says, the yeast gets out of balance and begins to rapidly multiply, which causes the body to deteriorate faster.

He believes that I am especially vulnerable, so he advises me to avoid all the foods he believes attract yeast–all sugar, all dairy products, potato, grains (except rye), even most sweet fruits. Also, he advises me to avoid travel or eating out as much as possible to prevent possible contamination.

Even if his recommendations were temporary, this feels too restrictive to me. Meanwhile, I am losing too much weight. Also, this doctor’s recommendations contradict what I have learned from other sources.

Moreover, You once told me I should eat what I like, to eat with relish, that my body will accept whatever my mind accepted, and when traveling or visiting, to graciously eat whatever a host offers. And You also have said, in one Heavenletter, “What more can you ask of a world that gives you chocolate?” In other words, to enjoy life. What joy is there for me if I can’t eat what I want?

When we travel, we eat at a popular chain restaurant. Not the greatest food quality perhaps, but it is an oasis for hungry travelers. I know You would not tell me that this is off limits for me!

So, my question really is: although I am told that my body is rapidly deteriorating because of yeast, I am wondering if I am being sold a bill of goods, and that all this distressing news is just programming. I know this doctor believes mightily in what he tells me. I feel I no longer have any use for such negative concepts.

Furthermore, for the past year, I have had the strong desire to rid myself of dependence on healers and herbal remedies. While I deeply appreciate the sincerity of these healers, I no longer wish to be beholden to them or to any of their ideas. Not only are herbal remedies too expensive, the belief in the need for them has resulted in an unhappy lifestyle, consuming most of our income, thoughts, and energy. Furthermore, it seems these remedies don’t even have any lasting effect. According to my doctor, my health is worse than ever. The yeast just keeps adapting to each remedy, so I’m always playing this game of herb switching to keep one step ahead. He says I just have to learn to be persistent and to not give up.

I did give up a few months ago, mostly to catch up financially, but then a few months later, the doctor told me that, by discontinuing the herbs he recommended, I set my health back a lot, and now I need more than ever!

That no longer feels true to me.

What I need is to heal my mind of the belief that I need these things, of the belief that something can overpower me and destroy my body, of the belief that I need to be ill.

So, I am also asking You, dear God, to please remove–permanently, if possible–all my limiting beliefs, all the programming, unconscious or otherwise, that makes me feel that I need to keep chasing after healers and their herbal programs. Teach me self-acceptance. Please clear me of all my attachment to fear, illness, accidents, and anything else that no longer serves me. In retrospect, I see that I learned something about myself from these experiences, and now I am ready to move on. I AM ready for perfect health, a robust body, a clear mind, a loving heart, and vital, youthful energy. I AM to be a fully functioning soldier in Your army of love. I want no more distractions of ill health or even rumors of ill health, and no more car accidents. I have had enough of fear!

In addition, I ask that You remove my energy from everyone and everything that I have ever attached to. I desire to stand on my own two feet.

I ask You to assist me in my desire to remain fully conscious of You throughout the day each day, and to remember always that I am eternally safe, secure, and invincible in Your loving light. I desire to serve unconditionally, and never again forget my Oneness with all.

Use me, dear God, in whatever way You will. Help me to help You heal the world.

If it is Your Will, dear God, would You reply? I long to hear from You. I know what I feel is Your answer. Is it okay to ask Gloria to see what she gets? This is really big for me. I guess I am asking for confirmation.

Love and blessings,

Your Annette

God to Annette:

My Annette,

Do you really think that someone knows more than you?

Do you really think that a voice on the telephone, no matter how sincere, has all the answers? He is his consciousness, and you are yours.

Do you really think that a doctor in a hospital has more power than you yourself? Most of My children do think so, so why wouldn’t you?

Do parasites have more power than you? They eat off you. You don’t eat off them. They are not gods.

The whole world has sold you a bill of goods, My darling child, and you have bought it. And now you are getting out of the yoke. The world will make different statements and transform itself in tandem with you. When the world no longer has you gaping at its every word, the world will change its tune according to you.

You are stepping out of childhood. You are a teenager now, beginning to think for yourself, and now you rebel. At any moment, you will be a full-fledged adult who sees as I do see, and there will be no following and no rebellion.

You don’t see Me asking anyone about your health, do you? I do not consult the charts or x-ray machines. I am God, and you are too.

What you have written is not so much a question as it is a vow. You vow to rise above ignorance and all the ideas the world’s bells have rung as truth.

Now there are many such as you who are questioning the old world order. You are not revolutionists. You are simply people rising higher where what was once tolerated or even accepted is no longer tolerated. You are no longer a Yes man. Nor are you a No man. You simply can no longer be what you once were, NOR can the world stay as it once was. New Annette. New world. Same God.

Beloved, you don’t need an herbal remedy any more than you need to be ill. You do not need to adore any particular health system any more than you need to adore the parasite school of thought. You don’t need to stay home any more than you need to go out.  Give up the idea that you need someone outside you to tell you what you need to do. I will tell you that you do need to commandeer your own freedom.

What do you think Self-Realization means? You realize your Self. You realize your own dominion. Follow not this doctor nor that school. If you believe you need them, you need them. If you believe in Annette, you don’t need them. Follow your own heart, beloved.

I am not telling you to throw everything and everyone away. Listen and discern and be free to choose as you choose. You are not a prisoner in life who can only go the ways that the world or someone in it prescribes. Anyway, the world is filled with contradiction. Nor are you going to prescribe to the world, although you will change the world. This is inevitable. As your consciousness rises, so does the world’s. You are a determiner of the world you live in. You are the decider of what you will or will not do.

Common sense is quite uncommon. Now you are coming to your senses.

Please do not analyze so much. Analyze means to think. Don’t think so much. Save thinking for where it benefits you. Bounce along in life. Consider less.

Smile, Annette. Your health is as good as you say it is according to your belief. The world believes in illness. You don’t have to. You do not need to be in the grips of the world or in the grips of anything. Will you believe Me, precious daughter, when I tell you that you are robust?

Love,

Annette’s God

Dear Annette,

Thinking back, I remember the help I got when My intentions were expressed to my inner self. Ask yourself if you need a doctor or health practitionor. I was well on the way on my path and I went to a Chiropractor with a sore back who send me to have x rays who send me straight to Hospital as they found a big Annarism I cot operated on and feel good now. Doctors are there to help people , Like I have 2 plastic eyes (cataract) 2 plastic ears, (hearing aids), Plastic teeth, One left my last wisdom Tooth which came through at age 70 so I finally got wise? So yes help for body to keep you healthy is fine after you asked yourself after a wile it becomes automatic. Hey Jack go and have a Massage. etc. Your intend is the most important and God will help you Now I stop ranting and wish you Happiness and peace Love Jack

Dear Annette,
I cant quite describe what I mean but I hope you understand what I mean when I say you have ALREADY realised that you dont need this doctors advice ,it doesnt FEEL right to you so it probably isn’t right for you . Your intuition is telling you the truth.I feel your pain and your feeling of dependence on all these healers and herbalists I have been there too! I think when you start getting pulled in different directions by other people’s beliefs and don’t know which way to turn then God,your heart wisdom and intuition is the way to go and you have ALREADY done this! You see it’s TRUE ,In asking is the healing.
Much love Nancyx

Dear Annette, candida (yeast) is insidious and can cause horrible health problems as I know from personal experience. When I was in the hospital a couple of years ago, I was given massive amounts of antibiotics, which caused thrush (where the yeast is so pervasive, it gets into your throat and mouth).

I came home on 14 or 15 medications, half of which were to counteract the side effects of the others, and I kept getting sicker and sicker. Bad enough to nearly die, now I was in a totally miserable state.

A wonderful friend came to the rescue with all sorts of herbal remedies and healthy foods and I healed. When I healed, I no longer needed the herbals. What healed me most was simple and cheap–aloe vera juice, freshly squeezed carrot juice and, laugh if you want, chicken soup made with organic free-range chickens with lots of garlic in it.

Yes, listen to your body, but make sure it’s your body and not the candida speaking. Candida (the monster inside) craves sugar, sugar and more sugar.

There is ABSOLUTELY no need to go broke to get healthy. As you’ve already determined in your letter, it starts with THINKING healthy. As you DO get healthier, and thinking healthier, you’ll find you crave healthier foods.

It’s simple things like not using refined sugar (use stevia, fructose, agave, etc.) or artificial sweeteners. Using sea salt instead of refined salt. Eating only whole grain products. Switching from white rice to brown rice. Eating organic plain yogurt and adding your own fruit or granola blend to it. Of course, when you want to eat at a favorite chain, by all means do so.

And guess what, there’s even a healthy chocolate out there–a delicious dark chocolate loaded with antioxidants and with no added fillers, waxes or processed sugar.

Like Nancyx said, your intuition is telling you the truth. The same holds true whether seeking alternative health therapies or allopathic solutions. It is YOUR body and YOUR health. YOU are in control and only you know what feels right or not for you.

I know that Godde gave you the ultimate answer, but I also want you to know that you have my full support and prayers.

HUGS–Pam

I am so grateful for the good doctors that have been in my life. Dr. Jolen, saved my daughter’s life. (See
http://www.godwriting.org/godwriting/my-daughters-near-death-experience-gods-light.htm) When I was in agony with four broken ribs, I can’t imagine surviving that without Dr. Buck’s kindness. When we need doctors, they are wonderful to have!

I have also been in the place where I ran to doctors, and I took anything and everything prescribed without batting an eye. If a doctor said it, I did it. That’s how I did everything back then. I didn’t make my own decisions about anything.

I went to M.D.’s, chiropractors, herbologists, homeopathists, all kinds of healers. I didn’t have to have any symptoms — I went anyway, looking for that perfect cure of what?…of being a human being, I think!

I was overly-dependent on the medical profession and anything to do with health, and I wouldn’t make a move without a professional’s okay. My heart went up or down according to what a doctor said, or a nurse, or even an article in a magazine at the doctor’s office!

Fifteen or more years ago, a chiropractor told me that I wouldn’t make it unless I went to a specialist. I never went. Obviously, I’m still here, alive and kicking.

Please know I applaud all the caring doctors in the world, and there are many. I would run to Bernie Siegel in a minute. Where did I read that it is a doctor’s attention, consciousness, and love that heal? I think it was David Hawkins, M.D., who healed psychiatric patients by his attention on them and his belief. It was he or someone else who didn’t even have to see the person.

That’s another thing, I was going to say “didn’t have to be the patient.” No one should be “a patient.” I probably read that somewhere too. Maybe from Bernie.

My father had severe asthma. One night he woke up unable to breathe, and we couldn’t find his asthma medicine. Finally we gave him some aspirin, and didn’t let him know it was aspirin. Very soon the aspirin kicked in, and my father could breathe and get to sleep. Maybe it all has to do with belief.

I just don’t want to do anything anyone tells me to do anymore! I don’t want to do what the world expects me to do. And if someone wants to motivate me with fear, you can be sure I run the other way.

Dear Annette,

Since this question and comments were written months ago, I hope you have done well since that time. I have a story to add to the comments that may help further.

When I married, my wife and I went to Jamaica on our honeymoon. There was a stage hypnotist there who entertained a large crowd one evening. He asked for volunteers to come to the stage. It was uncharacteristic for me, but I volunteered. There were about 5 of us volunteers and we were assigned to each dance on the stage to the music that the hypnotist arranged to be played. I was the last dancer, I was impressed with how well my fellow vounteers danced and I resolved to do my best dance (even though I’m not much of a dancer). A military march came on, this was easy! I pretended I had a rifle on my shoulder and did the best marching to the beat you could do! The music stopped, the hypnotist thanked us and I took my seat while enjoying a lively round of applause from the audience.

I said to my wife: “what a great marching song they played for me!” She looked at me kinda of funny and said: “Chuck, honey, there was no music played for any of you!”

I had known about the power of hypnosis, but this demonstration was very compelling to me. Since that time I have been very involved in studying the many, many healing theories that are out there, trying to understand which are most effective. I have come to the conclusion that healing remedies work for us predominantly the way that military march worked for me. I was ready to follow the hypnotists directions and I believed what he said. It is our mind and our deepest beliefs that create disease and it is our mind and beliefs that either block God’s healing energy or allow it. It is the positive, empowering and self actualizing advice that will be most conducive to God’s natural health and healing. To the extent that we buy into our vulnerability to parasites and other disease carriers, we will be susceptible to them.

Wishing you all the best……Chuck

Beloved Chuck, thanks to your newly-posted comment — and what a great example of the power of the mind that is! — I reread Annette’s magnificent statement and God’s simple answer. Wow. You would think I had never read any of this before!!!!

Nevertheless, there are several fairly recent blogs about how amazingly my broken shoulder healed. Without remembering this blog post, and no matter the doubts I carried, I like to think that I was going by God’s answer. It’s really true that we don’t have to remember God’s words. They can work without our remembering.

Very possibly it’s because I had read Annette’s statement and God’s response that so much support for self-healing reached me.

God bless us all!

Dear Jack, Engin, Nancy, Pam, Chuck, and Gloria et al.,
Thanks to all of you for your comments to my 2008 question to God on becoming independent from the influence of the opinions of others like doctors and healers. And thank you for sharing your own stories. Of course, what God says applies to everyone.
This has marked a major turning point in my life.
I have taken God’s advice. I am thinking more for myself and making my own decisions according to my own heart, not only in terms of health, but in every aspect of life. Of course, I still listen to what others say, but always decide for myself what resonates with my own truth before acting on any advice. I find this very freeing.
Now I am becoming more autonomous and self-responsible. I have more faith in my own power of mind and my own intrinsic good health. Health is no longer my major concern. Most of my attention is now on joy, which happens to be the most potent medicine for healing, anyway. When I’m happy, the last thing I think about is my body! Consequently, my health is a whole lot better. Without the intense focus of worry, symptoms don’t seem to want to hang around so long.
It’s not that I don’t occasionally have health challenges. It’s just that I don’t make much of them anymore, and then they seem to just quietly fade away. God is teaching us to identify more with Him than with the body. Since God is the epitome of glowing good health, that is how I am beginning to see myself more and more. It’s a process. I’m not totally there yet, but I’m making great progress.
God bless everyone, and Godspeed!
Love,
Annette

Beloved Annette, it feels so good to learn more of your story. Your question to God, your insights, and God’s response are — well, divine. They are classics really.

And then the comments from others and now from you add so much. The comments are vital.

I’m grateful to Chuck for re-discovering your question and God’s answer and strengthening it in our awareness.
