It does do what it says it will, so I've been ungrateful, using it and finding fault. You asked me how I turned it off. What I turned off was the scheduler. How I found it the scheduler, I don't have any idea! Just finally found it after trying everything I could think of. Now AVG scans when I tell it to which makes our relationship quite nice actually. Yes, the AVG upgrade takes 45 seconds, but the scanning, at least on my computer, does take 45 MINUTES. And I'm virtually always on my computer! Every two days A.V.G. updates for about 45 sec. at least mine does. The updates are necessary My grandson tells me. It always happens when I am reading Heaven Letter of the day. Well Patience Jack !!!!! So I go and have a glass of water and when the update is finished I carry on. So I lost 45 seconds, so what?? I needed that glass of water. and I learned to become a little more patient something I HAVE TO PRACTICE DAYLY!!!! So all is better and health is not impaired through being Impatient. Love you.
