A Questionaire for You

Divine Diva’s questionaire got me thinking, and I thought I would make a questionaire for the Heavenpeople who come to this blog. Will you take this questionaire?

Some of these are questions I used to give to my classes as topics for compositions. A couple of questions come from the Actor’s Studio.

You can answer quickly. And just the ones you want to answer. Please post your answers here under comments!

* Why did your parents name you what they did?

* What was your first car?

* What is your favorite color or colors. Why do you think you choose what you do?

*What is your very first memory? Or two or three?

* What word do you love, and why?

*What sound do you love, and why?

* What are three things, when you think of them, they make you feel good about yourself? They don’t have to be momentous. They can be very little, maybe something you said or did for someone or someone said or did for you. No answer is too small.

* If you could be any flower you wanted, what flower would you be, and why?

* If you could have any car you wanted, what car would it be and why? Or what are the top three you would choose?

* If you could live in any time in the world, what era would you choose, and why?

* If you could invent something, what would you invent?

* What other questions do you think of that would be good to ask here?

Thank you! I look forward to reading what you say.

1.I haven’t got a faintest idea, but I do feel that the name Paula belongs to me.
2.I never had a car of my own.
3.My favorite color is blu (velvet), like the night sky. I feel it is very much my color, I feel wrapped in it, actually I feel I am one with it.
4.My very first memories are of me sitting on the bottom of a rowing boat, going with my elder sister to fetch my other sisters from school. I was to make a surprise for them. - And another is of me jumping from a wharf to the boat until I fall in the water and get all wet. And I have to wear some old woman’s clothes because I only had the clothes that got wet.
5. I love the word ‘Äiti’ in Finnish, it means Mother. I love the word ‘Terra’ in Italian, it means Earth. I love the word ‘Love’ in English. You know what that means. - I don’t know why, I just feel them in my heart.
6. I love the sound of the robins singing through all the night in this period. I love the sound OM, because it gives me an idea of God.
7. I feel good when I can give someone a nice surprise they don’t expect. I feel good about myself when I can make someone smile, or manage to transform a tense situation in a joyous one. I feel good when I get a job done and I know I’ve done it well.
8. I’d be a pure white rose, so as to radiate love and light all around, with some cornflowers surrounding the rose.
9. I wouldn’t want to be a car, but if I had to choose I’d like to be a BMW.
10. I wouldn’t want to live on Earth at all, but if I had to choose I’d like to live in the golden future.
11. I would invent a way for all people to live in harmony in the midst of the Nature.

I can think of lots of questions to make here, but I think this is enough for now. I hope I haven’t made it too long. I enjoyed a lot doing this, it was like a vacation for me in this moment, and it also made me think a lot. Thank you, Gloria.
Love,
Paula

Paula, there is no too long! If anything, it is not long enough. I wanted more! I loved what you wrote, White Rose. It’s beautiful.

By the way, what car would you like to drive?

Reply from paula on March 11, 2007

In this period, I’d like to drive a Volkswagen Golf.

* I’m not sure, but I think my mother liked Diane, but felt that it was just too popular so she settled for Jo Ann, which, in a moment of adolescent assertion, I shortened to Jo.
*My very own first car was, and remains a red VW Beetle.
*Red and all it’s derivatives. It’s so warm, bright and happy.
*Waiting at the front door for my mother to return from the hospital where she gave birth to my little brother. I was two.
*OOOOOOHHH, this is hard - I love many words. But right now I love “HOPE” for it’s beautiful upliftng meaning.
* I love the sound of the ocean’s surf. There is something so primordial and soulful in the forces of Mother Earth’s moving the water so rhythmically.
*My heart - when it’s unfettered it really knows how to love. My groundedness - I’m just beginning to appreciate what a gift this is. My natural mothering instincts that lead me well when I trust them.
* I would be a wildflower of any type, growing in a large natural meadow. Dancing in the wind. Just “being” and spreading joy.
*My seven year old red Beetle is the car I want. It’s whimsical and simple, and makes my inner “flower child” sing.
*I suspect that I’ve already lived in several different times/eras. I believe I’m supposed to be right where I am now.
*I would invent a device that undoes all the damage our short-sighted, appearance-driven culture causes to individual self-esteem, and leads the individual to genuine self-appreciation.
* This list is great, but I might add: What is the most important lesson you’ve learned so far? And who taught it to you? If you could be anywhere on this planet, where would you be? What gives you the most joy at this point in your life? What person has been the best teacher of how to love for you?
Fun idea, Gloria! Lovely answers, Paula. Bless you both.

Why did your parents name you what they did?
My mother read from a name book until my father changed the look on his face when she read, “Nancy?”

* What was your first car?
The first car I personally owned was a bright metallic blue 1972 Malibu..boy, she was hot!

* What is your favorite color or colors. Why do you think you choose what you
do?
Although I always pick violet or a blue, I wear black because it makes me look thinner

*What is your very first memory? Or two or three?
My Aunt pushing me in a stroller at Brookfield Zoo. She shoved the stroller really hard and it almost went into a large fountain

* What word do you love, and why?
When my husband says, “let’s go shopping”.

*What sound do you love, and why?
My canary..it’s like a sound from Heaven!

* What are three things, when you think of them, they make you feel good about
yourself?
I always try to hold the door open for people, strangers, I also try to smile at people when I pass them, and I also try to be as pleasant as I can

* If you could be any flower you wanted, what flower would you be, and why?
Gardenia..another smell and beautiful gift from Heaven!

* If you could have any car you wanted, what car would it be and why?
I’d really like a two seat sports car, but I have so many accidents it would be a coffin!

* If you could live in any time in the world, what era would you choose, and
why?
I’m happy here.

* If you could invent something, what would you invent?
A little box with a red button. Every time someone says something negative, I could push the button and turn the statement to at the very least…neutral

Whoops my memory is not what it used to be. Named after a family friend I changed it to Jack as in New Zealand the could not pronounce it.My first car? a clapped out 1938 morris all I could afford then, cost me $1000.- or 500 pounds at the time. Was married already and emigrated to New Zealand before I was on ships and a car there is useless. My favorite color, Gold as the sun rise.I like to get up and see the sun rise in the morning and the beautiful golden sun set, yes both give me a good feeling.
First memory? breastfed by my mother because I was jealous of my baby sister.Must have been 2 and being bowled over by our playful Boxer although I did not think of him as being playful and it made me scared of the poor thing.age 2-3. Words I love Is “I love you” use it all the time. Sound? Paganini’ violin concerto, gives me shivers. What makes me feel good about my self? the ability to shrug of negativity and the loss of Ego.although some times Ego tries to raise its ugly head again.Being in the theater when my youngest daughter was born. More beautiful then Sunrise. Before husbands were not allowed in the theater. I would like to be the Golden Rose my beloved wive MIEKE gave me a few years ago and they are blooming again. I am quit happy with the cars I got and my next one will be something similar as long as it is comfy. What Car? 3.5 liter Mitsubishi automatic, cruise control etc (lazy). I could not think of any time better then the NOW. Invention? anything that is easy to help others specially sicknesses. What other Questions? To repeat Nancy. None but “lets Go Shopping” That has such a lovely sound. Love you All Jack

Oh wow, what a beautiful idea Glorious! I love Paula’s answers. An Jo’s answers reminded me of so many things I love. Nancynancy makes me laugh and Jack’s beautiful sunrise has to be the most beautiful colour, like Paula’s pure white rose and the Full moon.

I would be a Lotus. When I was a few months old I have this vague memory of crawling after bugs and eating them, being quickly picked up and having a finger stuck into my mouth. The first manual car I drove was a brown VW beetle (Dad thought me how to drive on a playing field) and the first car I co-owned was a blue (like the colour of this blog) cabriolet VW beetle named Neptune. It had the fattest tires in the back and it blew flames from the exhaust. It could go in very deep water and when you sat in the back on a starry night while someone drove you, it would feel heavenly. Neptune attracted many girls and surprised many many people at how fast it could go. It had a personality and would truly behave when treated with love and respect.

The other day there was a storm and then the sun shone through the clouds from behind where I was sitting, forming a rainbow between another bunch of clouds in the horizon over the river. All of that is my favourite colour.

The sound of the ocean, a frog ochestra and crikets chirping. Wind rustling leaves, deep thunder and birds singing their love.

This is fun! Helps know people better. What a great idea you had, Gloria. Jo’s questions are also good.

One, you didn’t finish the questionaire! Where and when would you like to live? What makes you feel good about yourself? etc. I’m curious!
Love,
Paula

Here are the great questions Jo suggested. I wish I had thought of them!

* What is the most important lesson you’ve learned so far? And who taught it to you?

* If you could be anywhere on this planet, where would you be?

* What gives you the most joy at this point in your life?

* What person has been the best teacher of how to love for you?

Okay, I’m going to do them: (And I won’t be brief!)

The important lessons I’m still learning. The most important one has to be about following our heart, first finding out what my heart does feel, and then going with it. This has come from God. I don’t recall that anyone ever told me to listen to my heart before. But maybe I wasn’t listening. On the other hand, I remember hearing, “Don’t be foolish,” a lot!

If I could be anywhere on this planet, where would I be?
I guess I would be right where I am in Fairfield, Iowa, especially now that spring is coming. Yet that could change tomorrow. I certainly have thought of other places. This weekend I will be in Minden, Nevada, near Reno, with Michelle Gabler, doing a Godwriting(tm) workshop, and that’s where I will want to be. When I was in Europe, that was where I wanted to be. Hmm, this must be great progress because it used to be, wherever I was, I wanted to be somewhere else!

My greatest joy comes from Heavenletters(tm), Godwriting(tm), the forum, the blog, and what you write.

Who has been the best teacher of love for me? Early in life it would be those who made me feel loved the most — my father and two brothers. They LIKED me, enjoyed me. Then my daughter, who loved me from the beginning, and continues to love me still. Then it was Christ, the picture of him I had on my coffee table, and Christ from Jesus Christ Superstar and Godspell, then Christ himself in my heart, and now God. I can add a host of you as well. It is easy to love you. I will say it. I love you.

Yes this is going to be long.
What i will tell you and to understand I ask you to use your Imagination.I was pressed into giving Sunday school lesson. When I opened the book,I could not teach the children what the book said. The lesson must have been written during the inquisition. So what now?? I was at the time very volatile and am still surprised I did not send the book through the window. A voice in the back of my head said,” jack divide the class in two and one group says what as children is bad and what is good to do.Write in on the blackboard and leave a space in the middle( your imagination now of what the children came up with) On the left all the good on the right all the bad. ” now in the middle write with big letters LOVE”( the voice) Now all on the left is an act of LOVE and on the right all is an act against LOVE and with a big arrow from Love TO Above “and Love is the way to God” end of lesson as the bell went just as I said that. Saved by the Bell.
Years later in one of the times live had some difficulties. I was walking down the road in not to good a mood, as some of you must have experienced. Ups and downs. I hear this voice again ” Jack!! Can you remember the lesson you taught the children years ago” Answer YES
Well Jack!! Why not try it yourself some time”
Whow that was a kick it the behind!!
But I INTENDED to try love and as you know when the intension is there you get all the HELP you need. Now ther are no more LOWS only HIGHS. So who was my best TEACHER I would say G O D.Same as now in the letters GOD writes through our Angel Gloria. And oh yes, GOD and I still have long conversations and the funny part is GOD always is right.
Through all this I live now in Paradise and I am not willing to be anywhere else. Only when I go and visit friends, am looking forward to seeing you all sometime but will go back here.
What gives me the most Joy, Family and friend and above all Myself and GOD
My best teacher I have answered above.GOD and My Higher Self. That is it for now. I am a slow two finger typer and made many mistakes.LOVE YOU ALL Jack

* Why did your parents name you what they did?

Comic character my father liked.

* What was your first car?

:) 1951 Kaiser — black. So ugly and uncool you had to love it.

* What is your favorite color or colors. Why do you think you choose what you do?

I honestly don’t know and am very unclear as to why other people seem to know the answer to this question.

*What is your very first memory? Or two or three?

Crashing into the corner of my mothers Steinway Grand Piano. You know that scar everyone has over one eye or the other? That’s how I got mine.

* What word do you love, and why?

Doppelganger. I love that there is always the other.

*What sound do you love, and why?

Any phrase Vivaldi wrote. I think it is innocence I love in his phrasing. There are bird songs that strike me the same way.

* What are three things, when you think of them, they make you feel good about yourself? They don’t have to be momentous. They can be very little, maybe something you said or did for someone or someone said or did for you. No answer is too small.

I love. Not specifically but generally. I often find myself saying to myself, I love.

* If you could be any flower you wanted, what flower would you be, and why?

Wild sunflower. Humble. Skywatcher. Of earth, wind and sky.

* If you could have any car you wanted, what car would it be and why? Or what are the top three you would choose?

I really don’t care so long as it gets me there. I have a Jeep Cherokee and it suits my deep inner TomBoy.

* If you could live in any time in the world, what era would you choose, and why?

Now. Because.

* If you could invent something, what would you invent?

Love potion.

* What other questions do you think of that would be good to ask here?

I always like to ask, “In your wildest dreams, who are you. What are you doing.” Then there is the follow up question if needed, “What are you doing to make it come true.”

This is an interesting process. I may use something like this in my Animal Communication classes as an ice breaker. Your choice of questions is wonderful. Thanks Gloria :). Trish

The most important lesson I’ve learned so far is that Life is Love is God is constantly being MORE, is constant growth, never standing still. This was taught to me by Mother Mary, Jesus, Lord Maitreya and GOD.

If I could be anywhere on this planet, I’d like to be near a lake, any lake in the world, living in the nature.

I get the most joy in my life when I feel Love flowing freely through my heart.

The person who most taught me how to love was my mother. She wasn’t always easy to deal with, but with eleven children to raise, she was like a rock for all of us, always there. Evenif she didn’t approve, she never took away her love for us.
Paula

Gloria,
Thank you for answering my questions…I think they were Godwritten, even though I haven’t made it to a workshop yet. Your answers are wonderful. I think all of us here would have to add you to our list of those who have taught us how to love.
Namaste!
Jo

Why did your parents name you what they did?

XXX My mother said it was because she meant me to be like Katherine Earnshaw in Wuthering Heights, but forgot it was “Catherine”, not “Kathleen”. She often made stuff up. My sister says “Kathleen” means “pure” (typo: purse), but I haven’t checked this out (she converted to Catholicism, so maybe this is how she got the notion).

* What was your first car?

XXX 1969 Plymouth Valiant.

* What is your favorite color or colors. Why do you think you choose what you do?

XXX Electric blue. I suspect it may be significant to my off-world identity (whatever that is!).

*What is your very first memory? Or two or three?

XXX A bright red trunk in our livingroom. The paintings on my crib. My potty.

* What word do you love, and why?

XXX Lilacry. I made it up as the title for a story I wrote. I’ve never thought of this question, but this word jumped (typo: joined) out.

*What sound do you love, and why?

XXX Cow bells. I don’t know why and didn’t know what my answer would be. I heard them on a Fleetwood Mac song.

* What are three things, when you think of them, they make you feel good about yourself? They don’t have to be momentous. They can be very little, maybe something you said or did for someone or someone said or did for you. No answer is too small.

XXX There are people I admire on email lists who have strongly praised me for the info I share. I have been tremendously courageous at times. I’ve improved with age.

* If you could be any flower you wanted, what flower would you be, and why?

XXX An old English tea rose in a deep rose smelling of rose water. The smell transports me.

* If you could have any car you wanted, what car would it be and why? Or what are the top three you would choose?

XXX Jaguar. But I’d rather have a free-energy vehicle.

* If you could live in any time in the world, what era would you choose, and why?

XXX The mid-sixties to early seventies. There was so much beauty, hope, and inspiration across the world.

* If you could invent something, what would you invent?

XXX A device that would shield our ET friends from mankind’s acts of aggression against them and from our space-based weapons. They have what we need spiritually and technologically.

* What other questions do you think of that would be good to ask here?

XXX Since I’m not sure why you asked these particular questions I can’t say.

Thank you! I look forward to reading what you say.
