A Place to Begin

I can’t quite leave Heaven Admin’s radio show. It had a very profound effect on me.

Heaven Admin is someone who is going to change the world. By dint of his consciousness, he will. He also has down-to-earth ways to make great things happen.

One of his ideas is that we all make our own toothpaste. Wow! So simple. Think of what would happen when we all did that. We would regain our own sense of independence. We wouldn’t be such consumers. We would be free. We might turn the world on end.

Senor, will you kindly give us your toothpaste or tooth powder recipe? And tell us more about your idea?

I’m someone who has gone overboard buying things. When I was in Europe, someone told me that a certain brand of toothpaste in Germany was the best in the world. I went ahead and bought about ten tubes of the recommended toothpaste. You know what, it is just toothpaste, ordinary toothpaste. I don’t know what made it stand out for the person who told me about it. I had the thrill of buying it, and disappointment after.

There was a time when I did make my own tooth powder.  It was salt, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide.

Santhan’s recipe, on the other hand, is sweet-tasting and long-lasting. As with all his recipes, it is a delight.

We so enjoyed listening to Santhan’s radio show Sunday. It was fun to hear his voice! I would love to know how to make the toothpaste.

This is a recipe for one made this morning. It works very well. My teeth are bright white and I have been using home made toothpaste for years. You can make your own toothpaste too. Once you practice a little, you will become very good at it and then share your recipes with friends and family.

INGREDIENTS
Baking Soda (use less if you have sensitive gums)
Bentonite Clay (optional)
1-2 teaspoons of activated charcoal (the type used in water filters. This is optional. If your teeth require whitening then good to add the charcoal)
honey (I used the empty honey squeeze container to store the toothpaste)
finely ground sea salt
senna leaf powder (optional)
glycerin
cinnamon essential oil
eucalyptus essential oil (peppermint is better)
add water to get it to a smooth paste
Voila! Toothpaste.

You may experiment with the quantities and ingredients.

I’ll let all of you know about the Toothpaste for Love idea in a little bit.

May we have your tooth powder recipe too?

How much of the toothpaste is good to make at one time. How long does it last?

I make about a cup which lasts me about ~3months brushing twice a day. The tooth powder is the same, less the glycerine, water, senna powder and honey. You use a few more drops essential oil and may add stevia powder to make the powder a little more tasty.

This morning I added some ylang ylang essential oil, which gives a bubblegum like taste and I added some clove oil which is good for gums.

I’m going to make the powder. I need to get a few ingredients. Betonite, clove oil, cinnamon oil, and peppermint. I’m really looking forward to this. I like it very much already. I also look forward to hearing more about the Toothpaste for Love idea!
