Beloved Bernie

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

Way back in the early days of summer, Bernie Siegel, M.D., invited me to be a guest on his radio show on Tuesday, December 2, 2008.  He must have known he would have to book me well in advance. (Just kidding.) (more…)

Happiness

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

Of course, I have heard that the relative world is made of opposites, as if we can’t have happiness without sadness. (more…)

Bravery and Answering Personal Questions

Friday, November 14th, 2008

You may remember I was influenced by a book I read as a child called Plucky Little Patsy.  I wanted to be like plucky little Patsy. She spoke up all the time. She never was intimidated.  She was more than plucky — she was brave. She didn’t let anything stop her.

I wanted to like plucky little Patsy, but (more…)

No-Nonsense Godwriting

Saturday, November 8th, 2008

For years and years now, I sit down at the computer with the intention of writing down what I hear God say. Every morning I sit at the computer and wait for God to start whispering the morning’s Heavenletter™. It’s like I have an appointment with God. I made the appointment, and I make sure I’ll be there. (more…)

Dear Oprah from Santhan

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

 Dear Oprah,

There is a certain kind of sweetness that has been brewing on the Internet that I would like to share with you. We could call it Heavenly Love. Every morning I wake up, turn on my computer and go straight to my email inbox to receive my dose of Heavenly Love created especially for me, for that day.

My daily dose of Heaven comes (more…)

There Is a Song in My Heart

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

What a beautiful world we live in that has all of you in it.

I know what God means when He says in Heavenletters™ that He is heaping blessings upon us. You are the blessings.

I am in a daze at the marvelousness that meets me at every corner. (Well, yes, of course, I have some of the other stuff too, but what does that amount to next to all the wonderfulness?)

Yesterday I was privileged to (more…)

Yesterday’s Personal Godwriting

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

I hesitate to talk about experiences because it’s not experiences that we are here for. God in Heavenletters™ tells us we don’t need experiences. We don’t read Heavenletters so we have experiences. Experiences are sort of a detour. What do we want with experiences anyway when we can have God Himself?

And when we do (more…)

Love Spoken Here

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

God in Heavenletters™  doesn’t usually identify the lessons He give us, do you know what I mean? He doesn’t usually tell us what to do, as in a list, nor does He name anything as a lesson. He doesn’t give us a course of study or a routine to follow. He doesn’t give us assignments.

God works more silently. He is open about what He wants, yet He kinda (more…)

God Has Found Me Out

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

The Heavenletter Have More Confidence in God goes deep. I don’t know how to do less and still get things done. I run a race to keep up, and I barely keep my head above water. It must be that I think the world is dependent upon me. Would the sun not rise in the morning if I didn’t do everything I think I must?

A friend (more…)
