Getting Smarter 2

Sometimes it is like God in Heavenletters hits me over the head! I am not speaking right now of His loving words that melt, but of His words that are arrows that blast themselves straight through my heart. His arrows take away all my defenses, and I have no choice but to confront myself. Right now I’m talking about words from God that seem to shatter and disintegrate me, even a kind of wiping out of myself, an end to myself as I know myself. God shoots me through the heart, and I am lost. I am gone. I am no more.  All my armor is gone, and I am on my knees. (more…)

When I start to feel resentful

An old memory can trigger resentment. Pointless, pointless is resentment. I know better.

Everyone is free to do as he or she wishes. It’s not my business. Because someone chooses something other than what I would prefer is no reason for me to feel slighted or whatever it is that I convince myself to feel.

Breaking boundaries

Here are two examples of breaking through boundaries that I read about and can never forget.

The first example, I’m pretty sure I’ve told you about before. This was from a book of Jampolski’s about ten ordinary people who gave extraordinary acts of forgiveness.

How not to deal with automated customer service
