Listening to The Voice Within
By chance, I came across this excerpt from a Heavenletter that is so fitting to come after the story of the Dark Queen. Of course, we have all heard that nothing is by chance: (more…)
I wanted to clarify something about the blog entry I wrote — the one called The Questions I Asked, the one about the old dying man who had been located sixty years after his crimes and was imprisoned.
I wasn’t thinking about forgiving him or not forgiving him. (more…)
My questions I asked at the meeting I went to the other night were about love.
First I asked: Do our souls, as well as our individuality, also long for love? (more…)
For some reason, the expression unconditional love has always bothered me. I guess I feel it is bandied around a lot. I wonder now if unconditional is an incorrect terminology that doesn’t really reflect the true meaning.
At first glance, at least for me, unconditional seems to mean: (more…)
This was a great show, if I say so myself. Barbara has a way with her guests. Think of it: Barbara does an internet radio show every Monday morning. She puts her whole heart and soul into it. Do you know all the emails it takes back and forth to confirm guests etc. It’s a lot of work. You have to really want to share God in order to have a regular internet radio show.
She does a great job. I know this because the one hour on her show seemed like only two minutes. This is not how it usually is when I am being interviewed.

I was reading a book of Tobias Wolfe’s short stories. I had just read two sentences that told — not the secret of life — but what seemed to sum up the trouble with most relationships.

On this blog, the comments are the most wonderful of all. This has been shown time and time again. It was revealed in a recent entry, The Preciousness of Things, an entry about needless damage to growing things.
I would like to share what Marko said to Paula and then what Paula said to Marko, and then I have more to say. (more…)
Just because you leave a message on someone’s answering machine and they don’t call you back, that is no reason to think they don’t still love you.
I am amazed at the people who anguish because someone didn’t return their call. These sensitive people sit there by their phone waiting for a return call, thinking of all the unkind reasons why the person did not call them back. Some of these people even decide they will never call that person again.
Doesn’t the general public know that people who listen to their answering machine messages sometimes have a frisky thumb? (more…)
One (Heaven Admin) wrote a comment under the blog entry In India, the Love Shines Forth.
One’s comment was so deep, so simple and so succinct, that, by reading it, I was raised higher.
I am always amazed at how words can do so much – when they are only words — and I am amazed every time when I see that simple words are the most powerful of all. But, of course, words have meaning, or perhaps it isn’t the meaning at all but the consciousness of the writer. (more…)
I can’t be the only person in the world who cries watching GODSPELL. I just don’t happen to know anyone else who does.
What an effect this movie had on me twelve or so years ago when I first saw it and watched it spell-bound for about thirty-five times. I told you about this in the Story of Heavenletters on the web site.
When I saw GODSPELL again yesterday on Turner Classic Movies, it did it to me again. I credit the music, the innocence, and the spirit of the movie.
This is not one of those movies about the Life of Christ that play the solemn serious music. In fact, the movie and music are playful, and the people become like little children. (more…)
