I wanted Lauren very much.

I nursed her.

I was able to be home with her until she was four.

I read her stories. It was a mutual delight. I discovered Winnie the Pooh, and loved it. Lauren loved it too.

Every day I have experienced wonderful breezes in South Africa. Some of the time — and remember this is summer here –  I have felt chilly at night.

Heaven Admin told me that the African sun is hotter than the sun I know in the west. Because the sun here is so bright, it’s better to walk on the beach before 8:30 a.m. or after 5:30 in the afternoon.

Of course, I have great empathy for the moneys here who live on their own. They don’t understand stealing. They are simply looking for food to eat, and they have to live by their wits.
